NV5 and its team provide on-call engineering, inspection, and material testing services for Caltrans District 10 (Central Region), with up to 30 individuals assigned throughout the district at any given time.
Services include quality assurance inspection, assistant resident engineer duties, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, surveying, and field materials testing. Our inspectors are responsible for inspecting all day-to-day activities, including monitoring public safety and convenience, and stormwater pollution prevention planning (SWPPP). Our assistant resident engineers are responsible for preparing correspondence, coordinating and chairing meetings with the contractor, making field determinations and change order recommendations, and reviewing potential claims and preparing responses and reports.
