NV5 was hired to assess the roofs of a hotel in Lakeland, Florida in response to Hurricane Irma. NV5 evaluated the extent of damage to the roofs of the hotel structures, and the extent of moisture infiltration as a result of the storm. The wind-related damage was evaluated with respect to the building code and an engineering assessment determined that roof replacement was warranted.
