City of Henderson BMS Consulting

NV5 was engaged by City of Henderson (COH) to provide support in their city-wide controls system upgrade across 12 sites, mainly consisting of municipal commercial buildings. The project was carried out in 3 phases over 4 years.

In Phase 1, NV5 assisted COH with developing a framework for the controls upgrade. Phase 2 included support with selection of controls vendor, development of the bid package, and construction management for a pilot upgrade project on one building. In Phase 3, NV5 performed commissioning of the upgraded systems and construction management for remaining buildings.

During engagement as the Building Management System (BMS) Owner’s Representative, NV5 provided sequence of operations optimization, including schematics, single line diagrams and network architecture, review of design drawings and submittal packages. Continuous on-going implementation and technical support was provided by conducting regular stakeholder meetings.

Through the final phase of site assessment and commissioning, NV5 was able to identify equipment and system issues and help COH address those issues through regular meetings.
