The new parking garage on the North Campus of UMass Lowell is located on a site abutting VFW Highway and adjacent to the Costello Gymnasium Building.
The structure is an open-parking facility that provides parking for 627 vehicles. The superstructure system consists of pre-tensioned/pre-cast concrete double tee beams supported on pre-cast concrete frame elements. A perforated metal panel system makes up the north facade, creating a contemporary backdrop to the existing soccer field.
