Encore Boston Harbor is a luxury resort that features a 28-story guestroom tower with 671 rooms, a 210,000 square foot casino, 50,000 square feet of meeting and event space and a variety of restaurants and retail shops. The resort also features a Harborwalk that links to existing paths around Boston Harbor and opens a new stretch of shoreline to the public.
Encore Boston Harbor achieved the LEED Platinum rating by transforming a once heavily contaminated 33- acre industrial waste site into a 3.2M square foot entertainment venue with environmentally friendly elements. Some of those features include 45,000 square feet of Solar PV panels creating 1,067 MWh of power annually, 100% of the resorts irrigation needs are supplied through rainwater collection and reuse and 95% of the wood-based building materials are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. NV5 provided MEP, Fire Protection, Audiovisual and Telecom services on the recently built integrated resort.
