Virgin Hotel revamped the previous Hard Rock Hotel with a $200 million rebrand. NV5 was brought on to provide MEP, Fire Protection and Telecom services for the remodel. The remodel included three (3) existing hotel towers, Mohegan Sun Casino, 110,000 sf of meeting and convention space, a fitness center and spa and various dining and retail spaces.
The 60,000 SF Mohegan Sun casino is operated by Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment, an affiliate of the Mohegan Tribe, making it the first Native American tribe to operate a Las Vegas casino. The casino has 44 table games and about 650 slot machines.
