The mansion was captured across five levels—including basement and attic—using a combination of Trimble X9 stationary scanning and DJI Mavic 3E drone imagery. The scanning strategy balanced precision and efficiency, using stationary equipment for intricate areas and mobile workflows for broader coverage. For example, the attic, accessible only by pull-down ladder, required careful planning to ensure complete coverage.
Deliverables included a point cloud, Revit model, virtual tour, and aerial imagery. The first floor was modeled in high detail, capturing millwork, trim, fireplaces, and custom cabinetry. Upper levels were modeled with simplified geometry, with added detail at key architectural features such as the central stair and window casings.
