With the coronavirus pandemic continuing to disrupt businesses throughout the country, NV5’s experts have been helping businesses overcome challenges caused by the virus. Over the past few months, NV5 has provided support services for companies that have remained open as essential businesses, including but not limited to, residential management companies, healthcare agencies, and key supply chain manufacturing facilities. To help these essential businesses remain open and keep their workforce safe, NV5 has provided guidance, training, and emergency response services. NV5 consultants visited multiple sites for each business and have developed site-specific personal protective equipment (PPE) guidance cleaning protocols for rooms and areas that may be affected by the coronavirus. These protocols include information on the selection of cleaning products, cleaning techniques for various surface types, and instructions on proper contact time to achieve desired disinfection. NV5 has also prepared and administered training to site managers, cleaning crews, and company executives.
With cases continuing to increase across the United States, positive cases at any facility are inevitable despite even the best operational controls. When a positive case is identified, NV5 provides emergency response to organize, manage, and oversee a team of cleaners dispatched to the affected site.
NV5 ensures that the cleaners are properly protected with PPE, confirms the cleaning solutions are appropriate, and completes a verification checklist to document each surface that is cleaned. The goal for these operations is to get the affected areas up and running as soon as possible while providing documentation to show that the area was cleaned in accordance with the latest United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance.
