PES Environmental, an NV5 company, has a commercial development client that needed solutions for their site in California. The site was home to a former industrial facility where chlorinated solvents were spilled during industrial manufacturing processes occurring from 1941 to 1970.
The redevelopment plan included an apartment complex and commercial buildings and only a complete reduction of chlorinated volatile organic compounds in the treatment areas. Total achievement of the remedial objectives would allow for safe redevelopment of the property to occur.
