The convention scheduled to open Thursday, January 31, is expected to draw over 500 attendees to hear a well-rounded roster of about 60 to 70 speakers, forum panelists and discussion leaders. “This annual event allows us the opportunity to stay abreast with key issues affecting state and municipal water agencies,” said Emily Skalsky, engineering manager at NV5, “we are looking forward to exchanging ideas while meeting and greeting clients and colleagues” she added.
The focus of this year’s event is to provide technical expertise as well as a wide variety of political, scientific and socioeconomic points of view on water issues. Included are leading legislators, water lawyers, educators, scientists, and a host of agency administrators from across Colorado and beyond.
