NV5, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Engineering Firm Kaderabek Company Based in Miami, FL

Former Kaderabek Company owner Barry Goldstein, P.E., will join the NV5 team.

NV5, Inc., an international engineering provider of professional and technical consulting and certification services, announced today that the company has acquired the assets of Kaderabek Company (KACO), a 30-person firm headquartered in Miami, Florida.  KACO had its beginning in 1984 and over the years has become recognized for its technical expertise on development and engineering teams for some of the most challenging projects in south Florida, the Caribbean, and Central America.

“We are very excited to have KACO join the NV5 family of companies,” stated Dickerson Wright, Chairman and CEO of NV5, Inc.  “KACO will solidify NV5’s presence in Southern Florida where NV5 is currently operating out of two locations.  KACO’s track record includes many very prestigious public and private projects such as Miami Art Museum, Marlins Baseball Stadium, and Brickell Citi Center as well as long term contracts with Miami-Dade County, City of Miami, and Florida DOT.  KACO is currently working for the federal government in Guantanamo Bay and has active projects elsewhere in the Caribbean.”

“We are also very pleased to have former owner, Barry Goldstein, P.E., joining our team and taking on additional responsibilities within NV5,” Wright continued, “Barry was in partnership with founder Tom Kaderabek for 11 years until Tom passed away earlier this year.  Barry’s technical experience, leadership abilities and entrepreneurial spirit will be put to use in our organization going forward.”

Barry Goldstein, President of KACO, said, “In the past we have been approached by other attractive companies, but we feel that joining NV5, with its presence in south Florida and its national and international strategy, offers the greatest benefits for KACO and its employees.  Because of its reputation KACO is now facing tremendous growth potential in Florida, the Caribbean and Central America, and we look forward to working with NV5 to take advantage of these opportunities.”
