NV5 Instrumental In Roberto Clemente State Park’s Redesigned Waterfront and Gateway

NV5 has been working for the New York State Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) redesigning and reconstructing this major flagship park, Roberto Clemente State Park (RCSP), located in the Bronx along the Harlem River shoreline, since 2007.

Last week, Governor Cuomo decided to stage a “ribbon-cutting” ceremony (some of the improvements have been constructed and in-use since 2009) and issue a press release celebrating the $100 Million transformation of the urban park under his ‘watch’. NV5 landscape architects, architects, engineers and sub-consultants have designed the vast majority of the improvements celebrated at the ribbon cutting. NV5 is currently on its third consecutive 5-year design services term agreement with OPRHP. To date we’ve completed dozens of design projects for the State Agency. Most of them have been at RCSP, but several have been located at other State Parks in New York City as well.
