NV5 CEO Dickerson Wright, and VP of Sustainable Development Laura Bonich, both members of Harvard’s Sustainable Infrastructure advisory board, (SAIB) have been invited to participate in the Harvard Zofnass Graduate School of Design’s workshop, to be held on February 26 and 27 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Under the title: “After Sandy: The Renewed Urgency for Green Infrastructure” this knowledge building workshop will focus on issues of urban water management in the context of New York City, and the impact of climate change on the city’s infrastructure.
“Hurricane Sandy, has highlighted the dismal state of our nation’s infrastructure” said Bonich, “the need for sustainable infrastructure has now become a matter of urgency, crucial to economic growth and quality of life in the United States” she concluded.
Together with representatives from government, sustainability directors, and landscape architects, this workshop aims to refine the term ‘Green Infrastructure’ and the process of procuring, designing, and executing urban resiliency.
