Quantum Spatial, Inc., the nation’s largest independent geospatial data firm, today announced the appointment of Drew Meren to lead the Atlantic region, focusing on state and local government clients.
“Drew is a welcome addition to the Quantum Spatial team,” said Bob Vander Meer, vice president of Business Development for Quantum Spatial. “With a strong background in the GIS and geospatial markets, Drew brings a wealth of experience that will benefit our state and local governments and clients.”
As the leader of the Atlantic region, Meren will focus on business development from Virginia to Maine. His knowledge of GIS and geospatial will be valuable as Quantum Spatial continues to expand and deliver solutions targeted at state and local agencies, as well as the transportation market. Prior to joining Quantum Spatial, Meren was a business development manager for the commercial geospatial division of Avineon Inc., and served as a senior account manager for data transformation and analytics at Cyient (formerly Infotech Enterprises). He also was an account manager VARGIS, LLC and held GIS roles at GeoServ and Prince William County, Virginia.
“Quantum Spatial is a perfect fit, enabling me to leverage the experience I’ve gained throughout my career to take a primary role in large-scale data production and collaborate with many colleagues who I have long respected and admired,” said Meren. “I look forward to working with our current and prospective clients along the East Coast, providing them with the most advanced solutions for geospatial data.”
