City of Oceanside
The NV5 communication team works closely with Oceanside staff to promote water efficiency, solid waste and recycling, water pollution prevention, food scraps recycling, food recovery, composting and energy conservation programs. These robust communications and public outreach programs allow the city to conserve, protect and enhance natural resources, reduce the city’s carbon footprint, save money for Oceanside ratepayers and meet state and federal mandates.
NV5 uses creativity and sound community-based social marketing and behavior change methodology coupled with traditional education, marketing and outreach strategies to achieve the goal of changing residents’ and businesses’ behaviors to conserve water, protect and sustain the environment and change perceptions about water reuse.
