We used the NavVis VLX mobile scanner and Trimble X7 tripod to capture interior and exterior conditions of a four-story residence in Cambridge, MA. Scanning was completed in two hours.
Deliverables included a point cloud, a Revit model, and a virtual tour with 200 panoramic images. The model was developed to LOD 300 standards and includes architectural, structural, and MEP elements such as walls, roofs, chimneys, stairs, plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, and electrical panels. Geometry was best-fit to within ½ inch and categorized appropriately in Revit.
All deliverables were completed within two weeks of scanning.
