Intercontinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui is a 500-room hotel located on the Waterfront of Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor.
This Chiller Optimization Program was a comprehensive study of the chiller operation, outlining all of the options for energy savings, including operational and capital improvement opportunities. The results were operational cost savings of 18%, with an additional 5% savings identified that required some capital expenditure.
NV5 helped the hotel save over USD $1M per year on its chiller plant.
Specifically, we logged electrical data, provided a detailed report, conducted onsite workshops, and performed chiller staging modifications, capital improvements, and maintenance.
