Since 2016, NV5 has successfully helped two major hospitality clients in Asia reduce energy consumption, maintain energy performance, and improve the efficiency of the facility.
Monitoring Based Commissioning (MBCx) is used for two key functions, to efficiently identify and rectify building performance issues and operation improvement opportunities and to achieve utility savings and verify saving results.
NV5 used Enalytics™, the company’s technology-empowered MBCx platform, on these sites.
There are currently over 13,000 data points incorporated in Enalytics™. Apart from the previously implemented system modeling modules, NV5 has incorporated overall performance and saving opportunity summary module, utility reporting module, and system diagnostic modules on HVAC water and airside system/equipment. NV5 also deployed the new Machine Learning module, developed for predictive maintenance.
Verified energy reductions to date are 25%.
